As if I didn't have enough FPS's to play I've been thinking about giving this a try. Kuma War as you might probably know is that tactical FPS with missions based on the Iraq war which you subscribe to and they release new levels as the US Army go around and cause loads of shit. You can play the game in single player and co-op online. Has anyone tried this yet or fancy giving it a go as you can get a 7 day free trial? Anyway if you do drop me a PM or something as I wouldn't mind giving the co-op side of it a go and it'd be better if we could sync the 7 day trial and try and get at least a couple of games out of it to see if its any good. Oh yeah the sub is $9.99 a month which isn't too bad considering you don't have to shell out £30 for a boxed game to play it, so if you only play it for a couple of months you've only spent a tenner.

Well if we start the trial today we'll see if we can get a game or 2 in next week sometime.

Agreed, considering it looks pretty damn average in the graphics department it runs like a stuck pig. The game also plays like a cheap Ghost Recon only with worse AI in the SP mode aswell, although I suppose it is primerily meant to be played online. Well they won't be getting my $9.99. All the ascociated media that goes with it is pretty good like the videos explaining how it happened in reality, pity the game itself is crap.

Did the trial when it first came out. It's so crap I didn't bother posting about it.

I could live with it it if had a lot of maps, but by the time they build up a decent number you will have paid enough for two or three "normal" games.

BTW, I'm starting to hear good things about Joint Operations again, following the general let-down of the demo. One of the beta testers was saying they had load tested it up to 300 players (although God only knows what sort of the server that needs), so it should have decent net-code if nothing else. Apparently the general gameplay has been improved a fair bit, too... although it's presumably a bit late for the graphics.
