It's a 60gb premium 360. Plenty of room on the HD as long as you don't download loads of films and videos.

I'm just thinking that for £70 the difference you save not buying an elite can be put to a decent 22" monitor or TV (£120 ish).

Plus it'd be nice to have you on xbox live with the rest of us, you'll be amazed at how well it works compared to PC gaming.

I imagine it works like steams friends and community features work, problem with PC gaming is you have a million different things like Steam, Games for windows live, Xfire etc etc etc. Naturally Xbox only has 1.

I'm gonna end up teamkilling you lot for the first month or so, one of the big reasons I didnt buy one sooner was my ineptitude at playing anything other than racing or platformers with a controller.

Bad Company 2 is good on the 360, Red dead redemption is a must by the looks of it too.
I've got BC2 on the PC as well, prefer it on the 360 tbh, no cheats

Ah BC2 that's another game I need to invest in.

As for Agnar's 360, go for it, you don't need much more space than the 60Gb drive offers as mine is a 60Gb model too. I can have about 4-5 games installed to the drive and still have about 20Gb free for movie and demo downloads, which is more than enough. Plus if you need any extra space you can now use any 16Gb or smaller USB memory stick as extra space to save games and demos to etc. Just pop in a stick and format it with your 360, but with a 60Gb drive you shouldn't really need to do that. You can still use larger PC format USB hard drives and memory sticks with it though. I have a pocket size 80Gb Western Digital USB HDD drive hooked up to my 360 that's loaded with all the films I've downloaded on my PC, so I can watch them all on my TV, and the quality on a lot of these pirates is surprisingly good, even on a 32" set, especially the DVD rips.

Ok everything apart from my wifi adaptor is working, I have setup my network config correctly and it works with a cable but when i use wifi with the exact same settings (and the added wifi passwords and stuff which is 100% correct) it always fails on step 2 - internet. DNS error to do with not connecting to xbox servers.
It finds and connect to my home network fine but I cant work out why it fails on DNS when it works with the same settings on a ethernet cable.

I can only imagine there must be some issue with your router, does your Xbox need to added to a list of trusted machines etc?

Personally I have mine hardwired in. The problem with Wireless is that it just adds another thing to try and rule out if you find things aren't working one day for any particular reason.

It sounds like your XBox is set to obtain the DNS servers automatically (it thinks the router is a DHCP server) but the router is not supplying the information - a quick fix is to just manually set the correct DNS servers on the XBox - http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox360/kb.aspx?id=908884&lcid=1033&category=xboxlive

Also check your router's NAT settings and any access control settings (locked MAC addresses, trusted devices, etc..).

Your router could quite easily be set to allow certain traffic through on a wired connection that is blocked for wireless connections.
