Toying with getting one to put Windows 7 on when it releases in October. I've heard they are super quick.

Wondering if any of you fags have got them or used them and if so what do you reckon.

I was looking at the OCZ 60gb one for £115 but won't be buying till early October by which point they will hopefully be cheaper / larger capacity.

Used the older generation ones in some thin clients. XP Embedded boot time was about 2 seconds. Obviously Win7 will take a littl longer than that! The general rule of thumb is 2.5x a 7200rpm SATA2 drive (with the right amount of cache). Expensive, but the bolox.

LMAO!

Sorry, nerd speak is slowly taking me over.

I wouldn't use the words "Flash" or "Drive" to describe that...
